Nursing Services
TLC Nursing Center has licensed nurses who help provide 24-hour care to people who can no longer care for themselves due to physical, emotional, or mental conditions. Most nursing homes have two basic types of services: skilled medical care and custodial care.
Skilled nursing offered:
Restorative Nursing
Restorative nursing is a separate department that works closely with therapy services. The purpose of the restorative nursing program is to provide continuation of restored abilities once therapy services have completed intervention. Restorative nursing staff are specially trained to carry over individualized protocols with each patient who transitions into the program from therapy to help the individual maintain their maximum level of function once achieved. They also assume range of motion and splinting/orthotics application once therapy has identified appropriate devices and developed wearing and tolerance schedules for those individuals with joint range limitations.

- Daily laundry services are free to Medicare and Medicaid residents (cost covered under per diem rate).
